JARCC SCHOLARSHIP

The first annual Japanese American Resource Center Scholarship was proudly awarded June 6, 2020, to Miss Mika Kawanabe.  This scholarship is given as a participating community organization through the Japanese American Community Graduation Program (JACGP).

JACGP is a time-honored community- based program that began in 1955 to honor the late, dedicated community leader, Mr. Harry Sakata.  The JACGP recognizes all high school seniors of Japanese American ancestry from the Denver-metro area who exemplify Harry Sakata’s qualities of leadership and community service.  For more information about this worthy scholarship program, criteria for qualification, and applications, please visit https://jacgp.com
